Membership in the LaVista Park Civic Association (LVPCA) is open to persons 18 years of age or older who own or reside in single-family houses, duplexes, condominiums, or townhouses within the boundaries of the LaVista Park neighborhood. Membership is on a household basis.

LVPCA employs off-duty DeKalb County police officers for a neighborhood security patrol for LVPCA Members. In addition to the neighborhood security patrol, membership offers all the activities of the association, including The Neighborhood News; a quarterly printed newsletter; web site operations; social gatherings; Kids Club support; and park improvements. Subscription dues are $185 per year per household, renewable and payable on June 1. Our fiscal year runs from June 1 through May 31. 

The Association holds quarterly general meetings (2nd Thursday of January, April, July and October) with an Annual Meeting in October. Officers are elected at the Annual Meeting. These meetings are usually held at the Westminster Presbyterian Church at 1438 Sheridan Road NE.
